The Veterinarian's Guide to Residue Avoidance Management
Minor Species include all food-animal species that are NOT one of the seven major species. Within this group, there are many animal species (sheep, goats, catfish, game birds, honey bees, shellfishes, etc.) that are classified as MINOR FOOD ANIMALS based upon their use for human food production or consumption by humans. This group also includes wildlife, zoo animals, ornamental fishes, and rabbits as well as other species that are not major species, pets or other companions.

How to Search

Select a sub species of the minor species animal group to view a list the FDA approved drugs. "Other" includes wildlife, such as elk, mink, rabbits and bison.

Always consult the latest manufacturer's label before using any drug.
